Berlin with size of 891km and population of 3.5million was capital of kingdom of Prussia, German Empire, Weimar Republic and Third Reich. After World War 2 East Berlin became capital of East Germany and West Berlin of West Germany. One third of Berlin area is covered by forests lakes gardens and rivers.

Frankfurt with size of 248km and population of 7million has importance in Trade Center. Today it seats as main national and bank headquarters .The annual book fare is the largest in the world.
