Himani Gondkar

Hi, my name is Himani. What should I say about this tour? This tour for me was like a dream…when I was in 12th STD I came to know that there are study tours to Germany for students….I was learning German, so going for study tour was my dream….and then after 5 years I met Mr. & Mrs. Valwade…., and I heard that they also take students to study tour. And suddenly everything came together and I started preparing for the tour….I was super excited as my dream gone come true. Finally on 1st of May we flew to Europe…
Many things which were my imagination came in reality one by one, e.g. visiting Eiffel Tower, A dream city Vaduz, Tulip Garden, etc. From this beautiful tour, I learned how to be in discipline while walking on road, keep nearby area clean, follow traffic rules, be very polite with everyone, etc.
The major or I must say very important part I learned from this tour is CONFIDENCE. When we visited school, that time I gave small speech about ‘ Dishes in India’ that time I lost my stage fever, next while attending lectures, I attended Chemistry & Mathematics Lectures, as chemistry is my special subject so I was very excited about it, in that class, there I performed titration (which is also my favorite part in Chemistry) and I was the first person in that class who got correct reading, then the Professor asked me to teach other students, I did that. This experience was my best experience I ever had in my whole life…
Then in another lecture I introduce them to some of our festivals, which was also good experience. And spending time with family was a great fun. I enjoyed each & every moment I spent in tour, I understood their culture, their school system, their food tasting & many more. While understanding all this, our sir & mam guided us on important moments…
We not only travelled a lot but learned a lot. A big thanks to all who made my tour memorable. As now I am back to India, but still when I think of tour, I feel was it true or I am in my dream only……
