Europe Study Tour 2017
We started our on road journey from Talegaon to Mumbai. Some of our colleagues were to join us at Shivaji Maharaj Airport at Mumbai to fly off to Paris. On reaching Paris there was a private bus arranged to travel to Velbert in our Hostel DJH. That night we had a stay in Germany. The next morning with a heavy breakfast we were suppose to experience the school life of the school students at Vestisches – Gymnasium in Bottrop.
I and Anwit were little uncomfortable with the language but Rachana helped to get involved with them & enjoy the Biology lecture. Following by Biology lecture the Music lecture was joyful & unforgettable. After school visit we joined one of the families there. We studied their culture, interior & exterior designs of their houses which were excellent. We ate a piece of fruit cake & it was really delicious. Proud to say that one of our friend Aniruddha played the Indian National Anthem on the Piano & the family members also loved it a lot.
Then we went for a walk & then returned to school & hostel. After the morning breakfast on the next day we had to travel to Amsterdam. A wonderful city we enjoyed the visit of cheese factory & the wooden shoe factory. Specially the information given in Hindi & once again proud feeling about our national language.The next day was to Mannheim & we had to stay in Excelsior Hotel. I just can’t forget those scenes. After our dinner we were enjoying in the room with our partners cracking jokes & doing all the nonsense over there.
When we were told that our next visit is to Switzerland we were just mad & excited. On reaching I was only looking to the huge rheinfall & my eyes were just lost. Two things in the whole journey attracted me, those are Tulips & Rheinfall. Tulips were of many types. A huge variety in one flower is something new I learnt. The next visit was to superb Contance Lake. It was very cold but hopefully we got into the water & just enjoyed it. We had a stay in Uberlingen Hostel that night. We also experienced rope and cable car to get on the great pfander mountain in Austria.
The Reindeers there & the foggy climate was unexpectable. The following day was a long travel to Berlin. In the evening we had a siteseeing & after one night stay a visit to the excellent Parliament. But in a running race there was a great tattoo on my face & those two, half teeth were acompaning me to enjoy the remaining tour. We also saw the world war – 2 monuments which people use to visit. After our German tour we were supposed to travel from Berlin to Moscow for the siteseeing of Red Square & St. Basil’s Cathedral church.
We also had experience to light a candle in the church. The last day of our tour was to be finished by Radisson River cruise. We enjoyed the handful of our time given in the cruise. It was just a marvelous experience to visit all these beautiful places. One of the seven wonders of the world, What do you think I just forgot it? No. When we were in the Paris, the first visit of our tour was started with the great “Eiffel Tower.” When I saw it I was just crazy going on clicking snaps. One from the end, one from the top & on & on & on. Going into the flash back the real journey was started in the first session of FAHRSPIELERN ACADEMY. All the buddies joining to the tour were unknown but after the first session & introduction there was a little bonding & becoming strong enough till the end of the tour.
In the journey we were like a big family of 28 people including Mayuresh Dada & Yogesh Dada. I also thank shree sir for all the perfect & the systematic work, the efforts taken by Rucha Madam specially for the tasty lunch with different menu each time. There were many little things which tought me a lot & gave great experience. There were many mistakes made by me & my colleagues & I hope each one have learnt some thing new and great in return. Last but not the least a heartful thank you to all of you.
